Privacy policy

This policy explains how [company name] ("we") collects, uses and protects personal data when you use the Amazon Fishing Experience website and send us a trip request. We aim to meet the GDPR (EU/UK), the LGPD (Brazil), the CCPA/CPRA (California) and the APPI (Japan).

[company name], [country], is the controller of the data described here. Expeditions are operated in partnership with Camaiu Lodge. You can contact us about privacy at eddybusinessgod@hotmail.com.

Trip request form: full name, e-mail, phone or WhatsApp (optional), country, preferred contact language, travel window, group size and type, fishing experience, add-ons of interest, how you found us, your message, your consent and whether you want news.

Technical data: the page you came from and the page language, campaign parameters (UTM), your browser type, and your IP address, which we keep only as a one-way hash (we cannot read the original address).

Staff accounts: name, e-mail and role of the people who manage the site.

To answer your request and plan your trip (steps taken at your request, or our legitimate interest in replying).

To send news about expeditions, only if you ticked the box (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

To keep the website and the form secure and to detect spam (our legitimate interest).

To measure how the site is used, only if you accept analytics cookies (your consent).

To meet legal obligations.

Service providers that process data for us: Vercel (hosting and file storage), Neon (database), Cloudflare (DNS and the Turnstile anti-spam check), Resend (e-mail delivery) and Sentry (error monitoring). Camaiu Lodge receives the details needed to plan and operate your trip. We do not sell your personal data.

Some providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Trip requests are kept while we are in contact with you. Requests marked as lost or spam are deleted automatically after 24 months. Newsletter consent is kept until you withdraw it. You can ask us to delete your data earlier.

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, object to or restrict its use, withdraw consent, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell it). To exercise a right, write to eddybusinessgod@hotmail.com; we reply within the time set by law. You can also complain to your data protection authority (for example the ANPD in Brazil, the Personal Information Protection Commission in Japan, or your EU/UK authority).

The site works with essential storage only (for example your cookie choice and, for a visit, the campaign parameters of your first page, kept in your browser session). Analytics cookies are optional and load only after you accept them. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer.

The site uses HTTPS, access controls by role, anti-spam checks, and stores IP addresses only as hashes. No system is perfectly secure, so tell us at once if you suspect a problem.

The website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
